  Kodai’s passion for music started at the age of 13 while playing the guitar and composing. He also studied computer programming and created sound audio for web designing companies. He later picked up the sax and would practice for hours. Currently, he is studying improvisation and composition at Berklee College of Music.

 

  On the other hand, he is also attending a class at MIT and exploring VR/AR/MR technologies in the realm of music and education. He has always been curious about innovative technologies. For creative projects, including composition, he uses Finale, Pro Tools, Unity, and many other software as below.

 

  He also has professional working experiences in other fields. He graduated Aeronautical Safety College in Japan, and he earned the qualification for a radio operator's license. He has worked for 13 years as a government official and experienced various kinds of duties such as Air Traffic Communication, Space Satellite Operation, Airport Management, Aircraft Ground Handling, System Engineering, and etc.

 

  In regard to his programming experience, one of his job was to create applications to collect and analyze space satellite data. He also used DBMS to investigate flight plan data. On the other hand, he learned web designing and developed web applications using Ruby on Rails, HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, Premiere Elements, and Flash for fun.
